Guitar Ensemble to Perform Tango Music at April 20 Concert

Guitar EnsembleThe Chico State Guitar Ensemble will perform in concert on Friday, April 20th, at 7:30 p.m. in Rowland-Taylor Recital Hall (PAC 134) on the CSU, Chico campus.

The concert, titled “Strings Attached,” will showcase talented classical guitar students performing solo, and in ensemble, alongside program director Tobin Roye. 

“This years’ program explores a general theme of Tango music,” said Roye. “We will be featuring works by Luc Levesque, Maximo Diego Pujol, and Astor Piazzolla.” 

Other classic and contemporary works will round out the program. 

“This concert should appeal to audiences of all ages and backgrounds, and is sure to be an enjoyable, and intimate musical event,” noted Roye.
